Welcome to the St. John Lutheran website!  We are excited to share information about our congregation’s ministries in the Carroll area and beyond.  As a faith community, St. John has been in existence for over 118 years.  We have been in our current location since 1977. We strive to continually grow spiritually and invite you to join us on our journey of faith.

We hope you find our website to be user-friendly.  By utilizing the various tabs you will find information about programs at St. John, service times, committee work, sermon transcripts, newsletters and a photo album that highlights church life at St. John Lutheran.  The calendar provides information about upcoming events. You may also find the links to other local websites and to the ELCA website helpful.

On November 5th & 6th every one who worshipped was given an envelope with either a $10, $20 or $50 bill. In this envelope came the following instructions. 

1. You are not pray and ask God to guide you in how to use these funds.
2. You cannot spend it on yourself.
3. You cannot give it the the church.
4. Families or groups of members may pool their funds.
5. You are encouraged to think of ways to multiplying it such as buying supplies to bake or make something and then giving or selling these items.
6. You are asked to give a report of what you did with it, how you made your decision and why, and how you were blessed through this experience.
